California Hockey Officials Inc. is proud to announce our Officiating Gear Program for the 25/26 USA Hockey Season! Scholarship applicants must meet the minimum qualifications as set by California Hockey Officials Inc. We are focused on the grassroots level officials, unfortunately those with professional or international experience will not be considered.

Procedure

Applications are submitted directly to California Hockey Officials Inc. Scholarship Committee Member Christopher Arvizu. He can be reached at scholarships@californiahockeyofficials.org. Applications are first reviewed by the Scholarship Committee Members which then recommends certain applications to the California Hockey Officials Inc. Board of Directors for final review and vote to approve.

Scholarship Value: $500.00 each

The recipient will receive a maximum of $500.00 ("Award") to reimburse/offset the cost of officiating gear. Award shall be payable upon receipt of evidence of recipient fulfilling all scholarship criteria. The recipient to be responsible for any costs/fees beyond $500.00, if applicable.

Ages 12-30 Years Old
Must have completed all registration requirements for the USA Hockey 25/26 season.
Prior Playing Experience
Must be a member of LAHOA, SDHRA, or NORHOA
