2025 Application Open

California Hockey Officials Inc. is proud to award a merit-based scholarship to attend JHP Women's Officiating Camp in 2024.  Scholarship applicants must meet the minimum qualifications as set by camp directors at the JHP Women's Officiating Camp.  Camp application can be found at  Jamie Huntley-Park Women's Officiating Camp Application (google.com) .


Please note: California Hockey Officials Inc. has no relationship with JHP Women's Officiating Camp in any manor, nor do we guarantee your acceptance into the camp.

Procedure

Applications are submitted directly to California Hockey Officials Inc. Scholarship Committee Member Christopher Arvizu.  He can be reached by phone at 562-506-4559 or email at scholarships@californiahockeyofficials.org.  Applications are first reviewed by the Scholarship Committee Members which then recommends certain applications to the California Hockey Officials Inc. Board of Directors for final review and vote to approve.

Scholarship Value: 2 at $150.00 each

The recipient will receive a maximum of $150.00 ("Award") to reimburse/offset the cost of tuition.   Award shall be payable upon receipt of evidence of recipient fulfilling all scholarship criteria. The recipient to be responsible for any tuition costs/fees beyond $150.00, if applicable.

Recipient Notification

Applicants will be notified by email on May 31st, 2025 regarding their application status.

JHP Application

Criteria

  • Ages 18-29
  • Must be a Level 2, 3, or 4 USA Hockey official
  • Must work a minimum of 20 USA Hockey games between 1/1/2025-5/15/2025.  Games to be verified through your association's game scheduling system.
  • Must have completed all registration requirements for the USA Hockey 24/25 season.
  • Must be a member of LAHOA, SDHRA, or NORHOA
  • Proof of California Residency
  • Please provide photo ID.
  • Must have a pending application and/or have been accepted to the 2025 JHP Camp.
  • Application Deadline 5/15/2025
